Innovation 'will not define the future' according to former Oracle president Ray Lane.
Uh huh. I would write this off if he wasn't now general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, "investing in the software industry's next big thing."
Well, at least he's talking about software. We all know that industry is beyond screwed-up. And sure, if you follow the money offshore you're not going to find a whole lot of innovation going on.
But what good is "renovation" without the "innovation" that people are buying Ray?
